29 Nov Zumba in the Plaza
No fitness buff can come to Cartagena and not experience a class of latin-inspired Zumba! Especially not when that class is free, open ot the public and held in one of Cartagena’s most historic plaza’s. The Plaza de la Trinidad in Getsemani has become a hangout spot for artists, backpackers, delicious food vendors and zumba-lovers alike!
Taking place every Sunday this 2 hour long class (you can come and go when you please) is the perfect remedy for those long nights on the town. Fitness and ability are not an issue as all our more than welcom to take part. All you need is a good attitude, a willingness to look a tad silly in front of a crowd (don’t worry it’s a very friendly crowd) and some decent sneakers. Also if you could donate a 2000 peso tip for the ever-energetic Everlyn, who does a wonderful job running the classes and keeoping everyone pumped for the full two hours, that would be very much appreciated.
Once your done burning calories and having fun, treat yourself to a guilt free choriperro with papas fritas and a beer from the corner shop and sit and people watch at one of our favourite night time hang-outs in the city.
