10 Aug Ganesha
Restaurant owner, Ravi Sivaravam has managed to bring a taste of Indian to Cartagena’s historic downtown with the creation of Ganesha. Ravi takes pride in his culture’s culinary customs and works hard to bring all the required ingredients to make his dishes equally as tasty as those of his grandmother back in India.
Knowing that Cartagena’s food culture is a lot more local than international, Ganesha has become a gateway to the world of international cuisine in this city full of traditional customs and does a great job at offering authentic Indian cuisine.
The menu is filled with vegetarian, chicken, seafood and lamb dishes all served in traditional Indian sauces including masala, vindaloo, tikka, tandoori, korma, chettinadu and others. The menu is quite large with a vast array of tantalizing dishes that are guaranteed to make your taste buds dance champeta with every bite.
The portions are large and great for sharing. We recommend ordering a variety of different dishes to get a little sample of everything. The restaurant has also designed Jumbo Specials, meant to be shared between groups of 6 or 8 and come with a variety of starters, main courses and indian breads and rice to soak up all those exotic flavours left on your plate.
Whether you are a true lover of Indian cuisine or a newbie to this gastronomic treat, Ganesha is sure to impress with its hard-hitting flavour combinations that will leave your mouth watering for hours on end.
Ganesha is open for both lunch and dinner and they have a very affordable lunch special for those who are on a tighter budget and want to indulge in the magnificent flavours of India.
