Cartagena has one of the best diving sites in the Caribbean, a well-protected coral reef barrier that stretches around the paradise islands of Islas de Rosario and the National Marine Park. You get there within an hour from the center of Cartagena.
Diving Planet is a green star award dive center that recognizes their efforts in establishing sustainable processes and involvement in the study, care and protection of reefs at the Natural National Park “Corales del Rosario”, one of the most beautiful diving destinations in our country.
It is also the diving school in Cartagena that offers the widest range of courses. No matter if you are a beginner or advanced diver they will have what you need.
The crew will transport you straight to your diving spot early in the morning to ensure that the courses can offer two immersions in the crystal clear blue water.
They will provide you with a light picnic lunch and drinks during a break with the most amazing view over the ocean. After the day they take you back before sunset to the city.
What you will see
In this natural paradise, we find different species of sponges, hard and soft corals (brain, black, fire, plumes, fan, elkhorn, mustard, etc.) that provide shelter for countless species of fishes such as queen and French angel fish, blue tang, pinfish, spadefish, snapper, cowfish, and creoles, among others. In addition, you find lobsters, crabs, starfish, etc.
