Cartagena’s Most Happenin’ Happy Hours
Cartagena is full of many great bars and restaurants making it hard to choose the perfect spot to sip on cocktails and end the day. Our team has worked hard to research the greatest drinking holes in the city that offer special “Happy Hour” promotions to help cut costs.
El Bistro
One thing us gringos crave while living in Cartagena is a good authentic draft beer. Head on over to El Bistro between 4-7pm any day of the week for cheap draft beer, German draft that is. This restaurant bar in the Old Town is a regular hangout for both tourists and locals craving a crisp cold one every once in a while.
The Clock Pub
The Clock Pub is located in Cartagena’s Old Town, just steps away from the Clock Tower entrance, and sure doesn’t disappoint with their rockin’ good music and 2×1 daily happy hour from 4-7pm. Grab a beer at El Bistro and then head on over here for a little happy hour pub crawl style.
Hard Rock Cafe
This popular tourist destination offers a daily happy hour special from 4-7pm. Enjoy 2×1 cocktails at one of the balcony tables for a greatly entertaining early evening consisting of mouth watering cocktails and people watching at it’s finest.
El Balcon
If you live your life by the same philosophy of “Eat, Drink, Love” you need to check this place out. This cute little corner spot in San Diego offers up great food and drinks with an atmosphere to die for. Happy hour includes 2×1 cocktails from 4-8pm which can be enjoyed from one of their balcony tables over looking the plaza.
Bourbon Street
No matter what time or day of the week, bourbon street is always ready to party. This Mardi Gras themed bar offers up 2×1 national beers from 5-8pm on Tuesday and Thursday night. Come get the party started early before the crazy crowd rushes in.
Malagana
This adorable little gem of a spot in Getsemani has one of the coolest rooftops in the neighbourhood. Happy hour is from 6-8pm, but make sure to arrive early to get a spot on the roof so that you and your friends can be sipping on these tasty 2×1 cocktails in style. Make sure to check out the food menu as well, Malagana is known for their great food and drinks.
El Bar del Sur
Located just around the corner from Getsemani’s ever so famous, Plaza de la Trinidad, is always playing the best music. Starting at 5pm, you can order 2×1 cocktails at 15.000 COP until 9pm, not a bad deal. Make sure to try their delicious Venezuelan style arepa’s, they are to die for.
