If you want to spend a day lounging or dancing in the Rosario Islands and are struggling to choose where, rather than touring from beach to swimming site to beach again, Bora Bora day trip is a great option. You’ll find a fairly young crowd, ready to relax and play, especially at weekends, when there tends to be more of a party atmosphere.
Bora Bora Beach Club is a popular beach club set on one of the Rosario Islands about an hour from Cartagena. Dedicated speed boats leave daily every morning from La Bodeguita pier in Cartagena’s city centre at 8am, returning you to the city at 4pm in the afternoon. It is not currently possible to stay the night.
When you arrive at the beach club, you’ll find a small private beach with no beach vendors, and luxury beach beds set back and above the beach, complete with shades for extra privacy and sun protection. On arrival, you’ll receive a welcome cocktail to enjoy as you get settled or dip your toes in the wonderfully warm sea. Bora Bora VIP packages available, should you wish to guarantee a front row beach view for maximum relaxation.
Split your time between lounging with a tropical cocktail, dancing to the DJ’s tunes, and cooling down with a swim in the jewel-coloured sea surrounding the island. Take advantage of the chill out area, set further back from the DJ booth and bar, or for the ultimate in relaxation, book a professional massage, before a snooze in the shade! Snorkelling, kayaking and paddleboarding are also available if you’d like to see more of the coral reef around the island.
Passengers must arrive at La Bodeguita pier at 7:20 am and go at gate # 3
You must carry in cash the amount of the port tax * $ 20,000 cop. per person*
*Approximate arrival time back to La Bodeguita pier 4:00pm*
